Ali Westwood is the Global Marketing Manager for ExxonMobil’s Synthetics Global Business Unit, based out of Houston, Texas.  In this role Ali is responsible for Product Management, Marketing and Planning for the business’s Group IV (LoVis & HiVis Polyalphaolefins) and Group V (Esters & Alkalyated Naphthalenes]) product portfolio’s.  During his 22+ year career at ExxonMobil Ali has held a variety of technical, marketing and planning roles.  He was responsible for the launch, last year, of the next generation low viscosity, low volatility SpectraSynTM MaX 3.5 PAO off of their new technology platform.  He holds B.Sc., Masters and Doctorate degrees in Materials Science & Engineering from University of Manchester in the UK and Lehigh University in the US.  Prior to joining ExxonMobil he worked at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center and Union Carbide Corporation.
