Adam Crosswhite has 15+ years of experience as a Process Engineer working on process engineering design, scale up, and process/product development, most of which has been within the fertilizer industry. He has a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Alabama. Currently, he is the Director of Engineering and Pilot Plant at IFDC, where he manages all aspects of the pilot plant services offered by IFDC.

Growing up in north-western Missouri on a family farm growing tobacco crops and cattle, Josh brings a unique perspective to the fertilizer markets. With over 20 years of experience in this industry, Josh has operated in roles that have given him market perspective as a North American Logistics Specialist, US-based Nitrogen Producer, and General Manager of Commerce in Melbourne, Australia. Josh and his team, which spans the globe, have worked hard to educate the market on how to use the fertilizer futures markets to not only offset price risk, but also to be able to sell produce to farmers much sooner. for fertilizer producers to start their physical sales programs.

Geraldo Mattioli is an executive with over 25 years of experience in the Crop Nutrition segment. Throughout his career, he has worked with major fertilizer companies across Brazil, Latin America, Europe, and North America.

Starting as a field agronomist in Brazil, Geraldo has gained extensive experience with both commodities and specialty fertilizers. Over the years, he has taken on roles of increasing responsibility, managing multi-million dollar P&L businesses and leading multi-cultural teams. His most recent role was Senior VP North America for Yara International. Prior to that, other leadership positions he’s held with Yara include VP Premium Products North America, VP Farming Solutions Americas, VP Sales and Marketing Westernn US, and Country Manager and
Commercial Director France.

Geraldo also held leadership positions with Timac-Roullier, where he was Commercial Director in Brazil and later responsible for the early development of the Company in the Southeast of the USA.

He served on boards of private companies as well as industry associations, such as The Fertilizer Institute.

Geraldo has an agronomy degree from the University of Sao Paulo / USP, in Brazil, and an MBA from the University of Tampa.

John is the Global Group Vice President for Process Industries which includes Energy, Chemicals, Consumer Packaged Goods, and Life Sciences at Siemens Digital Industries Software.

John has over 30 years of global industry experience. He has founded multiple energy and technology startups and led global business development in China, Romania, Panama, and the USA. He has developed clinical trial management systems for monoclonal antibody R&D. He has managed greenfield and brownfield projects with oil and mining companies in Canada and China and implemented pipeline asset integrity programs in the USA and Mexico.

John holds patents for pipe-lining technology and serves as an executive member of the US-based Cleantech Alliance and the Program Advisory Committee for the Government of Canada National Research Council Construction Sector Digitalization and Productivity Program. He has also served on numerous boards of technology firms and university R&D associations.

John graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and completed executive studies at MIT and INSEAD.
