- What products/technologies/services do you specialize in?
Blickfeld is focused on developing & deploying advanced 3-D LiDAR technology for industrial use cases like: Volume Measurement (Inventory Management), and Security (Perimeter Intrusion, Gate Access, etc…). To do so, we’ve developed the industry’s first 3-D LiDAR with On-Device processing – capable of operating indoors, outdoors, at night, and during challenging weather conditions. Hardware is only one piece of the solution – so we also developed software that can analyze data produced by the LiDAR to generate actionable insights and deliver them to the end-user at the frequency and with the level of detail they require.
- Please explain the benefits of your speciality.
Using LiDAR to measure inventory of solid materials is highly accurate and requires no human inputs once it is set up and running – leaving you and your staff free to tackle pressing issues. Our customers see, on average, a 16% reduction in the cost of doing business because they’ve avoided write-offs, production stoppage, rush orders, and missed opportunities which were caused by under-estimating inventory.
- Are there any exciting developments that are happening within the industry or your company that you can share with us?
The fertilizer industry is facing increasing pressure to optimize inventory management, minimize waste, and improve supply chain efficiency – especially in response to fluctuating demand and evolving sustainability goals. The cost of LiDAR based solutions is now within the reaches of mid-sized (and even small) operators. We’ve deployed our technology to measure small bins, large warehouses, and freestanding outdoor stockpiles providing real-time, precise measurements that help businesses streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and make data-driven decisions.

- What will you be showcasing at your booth at The Fertilizer Show?
At the Fertilizer Show, we will be showcasing our LiDAR sensor, featuring on-device computing, our perception software, and customer dashboarding. Visitors will see how our solution provides on-demand, real-time inventory data capable of monitoring multiple stockpiles and sites simultaneously. We’ll also show examples of how our customers are using live and historical data to generate alarms and triggers that have helped our customers dial-in their operations and avoid costly errors.
