Aaron Waltz

Aaron Waltz has over 20 years of experience in research and agronomy within the agriculture industry. Born and raised in Plymouth, Nebraska, Waltz has been involved in his family farms raising livestock and crops. Waltz completed two summer internships with American Cyanamid within the sales support division for herbicides and insecticides. Waltz earned his B.S. in Biology from Doane College, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Agronomy from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. After finishing graduate studies, Waltz spent nine years at DuPont Pioneer in the research department focusing on corn genetics, hybrid evaluation and advancement, transgenic traits, and specialty breeding projects. Before joining Ostara, Waltz spent time with multiple companies with research and commercialization efforts focused on adjuvant manufacture and development, microbial fermentation, biostimulants, fertilizers, and more.
